Placements24 is seeking a Senior Blockchain Developer to join their team in Midrand, Gauteng. You will design, develop, and deploy secure smart contracts and backend services that interact with blockchain networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of blockchain development experience with smart contracts (Solidity, Rust).
• Deep understanding of blockchain, DLT, and cryptography.
• Experience with Hardhat, Truffle, Foundry.
• Backend languages and databases (Node.js, Python, Go).
• Familiarity with Web3 libraries (Web3.js, Ethers.js).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with audit processes and security best practices for smart contracts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms.
