Job summary

AECOM SA is seeking a BIM Lead to model, verify and coordinate complex building models using Revit and Navisworks. You will ensure compliance with BEP and project BIM Execution Plans while guiding junior staff and coordinating across disciplines in a hybrid Pretoria-area setting.

You will drive model integrity, manage submissions, and advance digital construction initiatives with Navisworks and BIM360, delivering high-quality outputs on time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years’ experience in drawing/modelling of concrete and steel structures.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience of relevant Revit modelling.
• Proficient in BIM standards, BEP and project setup in Revit/AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage junior staff under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Act as BIM Lead Verifier and ensure compliance with BIM Execution plan and standards.
• Coordinate project BIM models and deliverables to meet client requirements.
• Manage submissions and QA/QC protocols, and coordinate with discipline teams.
• Initiate BIM360 projects and lead team through the delivery phase.
