Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead BIM Modeler for a prominent development firm in Tembisa, Gauteng. You will lead BIM workflows, set standards, and mentor a team of BIM technicians through complex to completion projects.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-disciplinary models, performing clash detection, and driving efficiencies with state-of-the-art BIM technologies to support landmark commercial and mixed-use developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive BIM modeling/coordination experience.
• Proven track record leading BIM teams on large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the BIM process for assigned projects and ensure adherence to standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM execution plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models (Architectural, Structural, MEP).
• Perform clash detection and facilitate resolutions with project teams.
• Create and manage BIM content libraries, templates, and standards.
