Job summary

Blue Pearl PTY LTD seeks an experienced Senior AWS / BI Developer to drive the migration of 3–4 complex QlikView applications to Amazon QuickSight. You will analyze existing QlikView projects, map data models, and design modern analytics in AWS.

The role requires hands-on AWS and QuickSight, strong SQL and data modelling skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable dashboards and reports while coordinating with stakeholders throughout the migration.

Qualifications

• Senior BI Developer with hands-on AWS and Amazon QuickSight experience.
• Proven experience with QlikView including complex applications and data models.
• Experience migrating or modernizing BI/reporting platforms.
• Strong understanding of data modelling, ETL, SQL, BI reporting and dashboards, AWS data services.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and assess 3–4 existing complex QlikView applications.
• Understand data models, dashboards, reports, calculations and business logic.
• Design and develop dashboards and datasets in Amazon QuickSight.
• Migrate QlikView applications into the AWS environment.
• Develop dashboards, reports, datasets and visualizations within Amazon QuickSight.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are translated accurately.
• Validate migrated applications for data accuracy and reporting functionality.
• Identify migration challenges, dependencies and optimization opportunities.
• Provide effort and timeline estimates based on complexity of each application.
• Collaborate with client and technical teams throughout the migration process.
