BluePearl Consulting is seeking a Senior BI Developer with banking experience to join our CIB analytics team in Rosebank, Johannesburg. You will lead BI reporting, optimize dataflows, and drive ETL/SQL-based solutions with minimal supervision.

The role requires independent work, strong ownership, and clear stakeholder communication in a formal banking environment. Hybrid work arrangement expected with onsite days at Rosebank.

Qualifications

• Banking experience essential.
• Senior BI Developer or equivalent role.
• Hands-on Power BI experience.
• Experience with Dataflows, ETL and SQL.
• Independent worker with minimal supervision.
• Strong ownership and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional presentation in a banking environment.
• Onsite availability in Rosebank 3 days per week.
• Available to start on 1 January 2027.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and maintain BI dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Develop and manage dataflows to support reliable reporting.
• Build, maintain and optimise ETL processes for data pipelines.
• Write and optimise SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Translate reporting requirements into practical BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and quality across reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions.
• Manage deliverables independently with quality and timelines in mind.
• Communicate progress, risks and findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain professional conduct in a corporate banking environment.
