Job summary

BluePearl Consulting is seeking an outstanding Senior BI Developer with proven banking experience to join a Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB) analytics and reporting team. The successful candidate will have strong Power BI, Dataflows, ETL processes and SQL, with the ability to own deliverables and communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

This role requires a proactive, self-driven professional who can operate with minimal supervision, deliver high-quality reporting

Qualifications

• Proven banking industry experience is essential.
• Senior BI Developer or similar senior BI role experience.
• Hands-on Power BI experience.
• Practical ETL and SQL experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain BI dashboards, reports and data visuals using Power BI.
• Develop and manage dataflows to support reliable reporting solutions.
• Build and optimise ETL processes for data extraction, transformation and loading.
• Write, troubleshoot and optimise SQL queries for reporting and analysis.
• Translate reporting requirements into scalable BI solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and quality across reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions.
• Manage deliverables independently with attention to timelines and quality.
• Communicate progress and risks clearly to stakeholders.
• Maintain professional conduct in a corporate banking environment.
