Placements24 is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to design and build scalable backend services for a fully remote South Africa team. You will influence architecture, mentor juniors, and drive code quality in an agile environment.

You should have 6+ years of backend experience, strong Java or Python or Node.js, experience with RESTful APIs, databases, and cloud platforms. Remote-friendly culture with flexible hours and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of backend development experience.
• Experience building RESTful APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with microservices and containers.

Responsibilities
