Job summary

Deviare is hiring two Senior Developers for a Centurion, Gauteng team. You will design, build and maintain back-end Windows-based systems using C# and C++, with .NET Core transition while supported by a strong API and message-driven architecture.

Expect to own complex features, optimise multi-threaded solutions and influence code quality. On-site work is preferred in Centurion, with remote consideration for suitable candidates; start date is immediate.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong back-end development on Windows using C# and C++.
• Experience migrating .NET Framework to .NET Core.
• Experience designing and building REST/SOAP APIs and messaging like RabbitMQ.
• Ability to work independently on complex features within a team.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain back-end systems for Windows-based applications.
• Deliver complex features with minimal supervision and high quality.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and resolve performance issues.
• Move legacy .NET Framework code to .NET Core while supporting both.
• Collaborate with Lead Developer and Team Lead on code reviews and guidance.
