Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Avionics Engineer to join their forward-thinking team. This fully remote role allows you to contribute from anywhere while driving advancements in aircraft electronics and communication systems.

You will design, develop, integrate, and test complex avionics hardware and software, lead validation efforts, and collaborate with software, hardware, and systems engineers to meet safety and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in avionics systems design, development, and integration.
• Master's or PhD in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Proficiency with ARINC, MIL-STD, and DO-160.
• Experience with simulation and embedded software development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate avionics systems (navigation, comms, flight control, displays).
• Perform modeling and simulation to validate performance and requirements.
• Lead testing and validation of hardware and software; create test plans.
• Troubleshoot avionics issues; identify root causes and solutions.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and systems teams.
• Stay aware of avionics technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.
