Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer with automation specialization for Randburg operations. You will identify, evaluate, and implement automated solutions to boost manufacturing efficiency, improve product quality, and enhance safety.

The role involves robot integration, control systems, and smart manufacturing technologies. The position is hybrid, enabling collaboration with on-site teams while offering remote work for select tasks.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in industrial engineering with a focus on automation and robotics.
Experience with PLC programming, robotic systems (FANUC, KUKA), and HMI development.

Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for automation within manufacturing and operational processes.
Design, specify, and oversee the implementation of automated systems and robotic solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies and ROI analyses for proposed automation projects.
Collaborate with engineering, IT, and production teams to ensure seamless integration of automated systems.
Develop and maintain documentation for automated processes and equipment.
