Placements24 is seeking a senior Asset Manager for power generation facilities to optimize performance, reliability, and financial returns across a regional portfolio in the North West.

This role emphasizes maintenance strategies, lifecycle planning, and risk management to sustain long-term value and energy stability; you will lead cross-disciplinary teams and coordinate with engineering, operations, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical) or Business Administration.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in asset management, operations, or engineering in power generation.
• Strong understanding of power plant technologies, maintenance practices, and metrics.
• Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and risk assessment for large assets.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Familiarity with asset management software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term asset management strategies for power generation assets.
• Oversee maintenance planning, budgeting, and execution to maximize asset availability.
• Conduct performance analysis and implement optimization initiatives.
• Manage asset-related risks including operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
• Liaise with engineering specialists, operations teams, and financial stakeholders.
• Track asset condition, plan capital expenditures, and manage lifecycle.
