Placements24 is seeking a Junior Architect to join a remote-first team. This role offers a unique chance for a newly qualified architect to gain diverse experience across multiple project types and scales, contributing to design development and documentation from anywhere.

You will work closely with senior architects and project managers, assisting in all phases from concept design through construction detailing, with a structured mentorship program and access to the latest digital tools.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
• Recently admitted or eligible for admission to SACAP.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD is essential.
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
• Excellent graphic and communication skills; detail oriented.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a remote team.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior architects in developing concepts and design proposals.
• Produce drawings: plans, sections, elevations, and details in Revit/AutoCAD.
• Prepare design documentation, specifications, and reports.
• Research building materials, technologies, and codes.
• Participate in design reviews and client presentations.
