About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, validate, and implement analytical methods for the characterization and quantification of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and drug products using techniques such as HPLC, GC, MS, UV-Vis, and KF titration.
• Perform routine and non‑routine analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products according to established protocols and regulatory guidelines (e.g., GMP, ICH).
• Troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methods, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• Interpret analytical data, document results meticulously, and prepare comprehensive reports for regulatory submissions and internal review.
• Collaborate with formulation scientists, process chemists, and quality assurance teams to address analytical challenges and support product development.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical analysis, and regulatory requirements.
• Mentor junior analytical chemists, providing technical guidance and support.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in analytical chemistry, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with various analytical techniques, particularly HPLC, GC‑MS, and LC‑MS.
• Solid understanding of pharmaceutical development processes, drug stability, and impurity profiling.
• Proficiency in method validation according to ICH guidelines and experience with GMP environments.
• Strong data analysis and interpretation skills, with excellent attention to detail.
