Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• AME licence with relevant type ratings.
• 8+ years in aircraft maintenance, heavy maintenance focus.
• Experience leading technical teams.
• Knowledge of SACAA/EASA/FAA regulations.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and CMMS.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of aircraft systems and components.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks according to manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and engineering drawings to facilitate effective repairs.
• Supervise and guide a team of aircraft maintenance technicians, ensuring high standards of workmanship.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) License with relevant type ratings.
• At least 8 years of progressive experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong focus on heavy maintenance.
• Proven experience in leading or supervising technical teams.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations (e.g., SACAA, EASA, FAA).
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Willingness to travel occasionally and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass security vetting.
