Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on various aircraft systems, including engines, airframes, hydraulics, avionics, and electrical systems.
• Interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to identify and resolve aircraft discrepancies.
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks (A, B, C, and D checks) in accordance with manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
• Address unscheduled maintenance requirements and emergent issues promptly and effectively.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately and thoroughly in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with flight crews, operations, and other maintenance personnel to ensure seamless aircraft turnaround.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of maintenance operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant aviation regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• A recognized Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) license or equivalent qualification (e.g., EASA Part 66 or equivalent).
• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, with a strong focus on heavy maintenance and line maintenance.
• Proven expertise in troubleshooting and repairing complex systems on various aircraft types (e.g., Boeing, Airbus, regional jets).
• Thorough understanding of aviation regulations (e.g., SA-CARs, EASA, FAA).
• Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, test equipment, and aircraft maintenance software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to meet operational demands.
• Valid driver's license.
