Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Agricultural, Mechanical, Electrical) or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in technical support or field engineering for complex systems.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve intricate hardware/software issues.
• Experience with agricultural technology, IoT devices or complex machinery is desirable.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills; able to build trust with stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel within Western Cape and surrounding regions.
• CAD software experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert-level technical support and advanced troubleshooting for agritech systems.
• Conduct on-site client visits for installations, diagnostics, and performance optimisations.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for clients on operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with R&D and product teams to relay client feedback and influence development.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including manuals and guides.
• Manage and resolve high-priority client escalations with timely solutions.
• Monitor client system performance and recommend preventative maintenance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders in agriculture.
• Mentor junior support engineers and contribute to team expertise.
