The position requires a PhD or Master's in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with 10+ years of aerospace stress experience, strong FEA skills

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical stress analysis in aerospace.
• Expert proficiency in FEA software such as ANSYS, Abaqus, or Nastran.
• Experience with fatigue, creep, and fracture mechanics analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex mechanical stress analysis on aerospace structures using advanced FEA software.
• Develop and validate analytical models for static, dynamic, and thermal stress analysis.
• Conduct fatigue, fracture mechanics, and vibration analyses for durability under extreme conditions.
• Interpret simulation results, generate comprehensive reports, and provide recommendations to design teams.
• Collaborate remotely with multidisciplinary teams to address structural challenges.
• Define material properties and failure criteria based on data.
• Develop and implement best practices for stress analysis and validation.
• Mentor junior stress engineers to foster technical growth.
• Stay current with advancements in aerospace materials, simulation techniques, and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to development of new testing methodologies and verification processes.
