Job summary

EdUpStairs in Pretoria seeks a detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage receipts, verify deliveries against purchase orders, and ensure accurate stock recording. The role requires strong PFMA and Treasury Regulations knowledge, together with good communication and teamwork to coordinate with stakeholders across departments.

The successful candidate will monitor stock levels, conduct regular counts, and ensure proper labeling, storage and control of goods in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Senior certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of PFMA and Treasury Regulations.
• Familiarity with supply chain management policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods from service providers and verify deliveries against orders.
• Ensure goods meet specifications and quantities on purchase orders.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Monitor stock levels and identify damaged or obsolete items.
• Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations.
• Record, label, store and control goods properly.
