Job summary

SNG GrantThornton in Cape Town seeks a Manager to lead, manage, and grow high-performing teams within the Business Process Solutions division. The role oversees delivery quality, strengthens client relationships, and drives strategy and talent development across advisory services.

The successful candidate will have CA(SA) registration, 3–5 years post-articles experience (2+ in management), and a track record of leading teams and improving processes in a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) with active professional registration.
• 3–5 years post-articles experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards and advisory services.
• Experience leading teams and overseeing multiple client portfolios.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight across BPS service lines to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Act as primary contact for key clients, managing expectations and growth opportunities.
• Lead planning and execution of advisory engagements, including financial statements and advisory reports.
• Allocate resources effectively, oversee capacity, and manage project workflows.
• Implement quality assurance reviews on compilation and advisory files to ensure compliance.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level team members, driving excellence and growth.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize delivery and client experience.
• Support leadership in strategy execution, performance tracking, and client relationship development.
