Zusammenfassung

SNG Grant Thornton South Africa is seeking a Senior Consultant with strong accounting expertise to lead a diverse client portfolio (individuals, trusts and CCs). You will oversee engagements, review work of junior staff, draft journals, and prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements in accordance with IFRS and ISRE/ISRS guidance.

The ideal candidate has a BCom in Financial Accounting and Tax, SAIPA or SAICA articles, and hands-on experience with Pastel, Xero, CaseWare, and

Qualifikationen

• BCom in Financial Accounting and Tax majors required.
• SAIPA or SAICA articles completed or in progress.
• Experience with financial statement preparation and IFRS.
• Strong understanding of ISRS 4410/ISRE 2400 engagements.

Aufgaben

• Oversee a portfolio of clients including individuals, trusts and close corporations.
• Lead compilation and independent review engagements and ensure planning and execution.
• Review junior staff work, draft journals, and assist with tax computations and statutory returns.
• Prepare and finalise monthly management accounts and financial statements using CaseWare.
• Mentor junior staff and liaise with clients to discuss engagement results and deliverables.
