Job summary

SNG Grant Thornton in South Africa seeks a CA(SA) Manager to lead and grow the Business Process Solutions division. You will oversee quality, client relationships, and complex advisory engagements while driving internal talent development.

You will mentor teams, manage multiple client portfolios, and push for continuous improvement in service lines and systems within a dynamic professional environment.

Qualifications

• Registered CA(SA)
• Must hold a relevant degree (e.g., BCom in Accounting, Finance, or related field)
• Professional registration with SAICA, SAIPA, AGA, or CIMA
• Postgraduate qualification is an advantage

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic oversight and leadership across BPS service lines for high quality delivery.
• Act as primary point of contact for key clients, managing expectations and growth opportunities.
• Lead planning and execution of advisory engagements, including financial statements and advisory reports.
• Allocate resources effectively and oversee team capacity and workflows.
• Implement quality assurance reviews on compilation and advisory files to ensure standards.
• Mentor and coach junior and mid-level team members to drive excellence and growth.
• Lead process improvement initiatives to optimize service delivery and client experience.
• Support leadership in strategy execution, performance tracking, and client relationships.
