Job summary

JVR Software in Sandton seeks two experienced Senior Accountants to join the expanding finance team. You will own end-to-end accounting across month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting in a high-volume environment.

The role requires a BCom in Accounting or Finance, completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles, and 1–2 years post-articles experience. Collaboration with operations and involvement in audits are key aspects.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• Completed SAICA or SAIPA Articles.
• 1-2 years post-articles accounting experience.
• Experience in a high-volume environment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full accounting function and oversee month-end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger integrity.
• Review and process journals, accruals, and provisions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support annual audit processes and statutory submissions.
• Analyse financial information and provide insights to management.
• Assist with process improvements and financial reporting efficiencies.
• Collaborate with operational teams to support business objectives.
