Responsibilities

• Build immersive environments with careful composition, lighting, and storytelling through visuals.
• Optimize environment assets for real-time performance across platforms.
• Texture and material creation using PBR workflows (Substance Painter, Quixel).
• Collaborate with level designers, art directors, and other artists for cohesive world-building.
• Implement and integrate assets into the game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity).
• Mentor junior environment artists, providing guidance on technique and direction.
• Participate in art reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Research and stay up-to-date with trends in 3D environment art.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical/art issues related to environment assets.
