Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Technical Education & Industry Engagement Specialist in Johannesburg to design and deliver advanced education programmes for customers and partners. The role blends classroom and digital learning, with focus on product adoption, customer success and industry leadership.

You will work with Product Management, Technical Support and Marketing to create scalable training experiences and drive knowledge transfer across the security and access control ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience required.
• Thorough understanding of the electronic security and access control industry.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a high tech industry in a technical support role.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong client service and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training programmes at all certification and competency levels.
• Conduct classroom, on-site and remote training sessions for customers, partners and internal staff.
• Create and maintain eLearning content and LMS materials.
• Develop knowledge assessments, quizzes and practical activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing and Technical teams for content and learning initiatives.
• Represent the company at industry events and build stakeholder relationships.
