Job summary

Fidelity Security Group (Pty) Ltd invites applications for a Shift Supervisor at a high-risk site in the Vaal area. The role focuses on ensuring site security requirements are met, maintaining client satisfaction, and leading security staff.

Ideal candidates have Matric, PSIRA Grade A, and 5–8 years in Security Operations with shift supervision experience preferred. Must reside in or near Vanderbijlpark, own transport, and be able to work extended hours as needed.

Shift Manager/Supervisor:

A vacancy for a Shift Supervisor has become vacant at one of Fidelity Security’s high-risk Sites based within the Vaal area. The main purpose of the position is to ensure that all site-specific security requirements are adhered to and that the Client’s needs are always efficiently and professionally met.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric Certificate/ Grade 12.
• Grade A Psira registration and accreditation.
• A minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in Security Operations- previous Shift Management experience advantageous.
• Must reside in or near Vanderbijlpark
• Very analytical individual with excellent problem-solving Skills.
• Ability to manage and discipline staff.
• Computer literate, with proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong Operational Planning, Leadership and Organisational Skills as well as good.
• Interpersonal Communication and Client Liaison Skills are essential.
• Must be able to work under pressure and for extended hours as and when required.
• Willing to work flexi hours.
• Own Reliable transport.
• Clear criminal record.
• Should reside in the Vaal area or willing to relocate at own cost.
  

Job Specification:

• Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Security Services Group and the Client regarding security services rendered.
• Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding the improvement of services.
• Ensuring continuous assessment of the Client’s premises and minimizing as far as possible risky access and creating several barriers to would be criminals.
• Ensuring that all Security Officers on site meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the Client.
• General management and supervision of security staff and ensuring that all their queries are dealt with promptly.
• Submitting relevant monthly reports to the Client and Management when applicable.
