Overview

A Seasonal Retail Sales Associate at the Museum & Garden Shop is responsible for all sales activities and sales associate job duties, from greeting customers, answering questions, offering assistance, suggesting items, lending opinions, and providing product information. Seasonal associates will work up to 25 hours a week from July to February. Schedules will include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.

We are searching for a qualified seasonal sales associate to add to our team, and to provide the exceptional customer service Newfields' Museum & Garden Shop is known for. The ideal candidate should be an excellent communicator who has a knack for selling merchandise and building relationships. With a keen eye on customer satisfaction, the seasonal sales associate answers questions and maintains a clean, well-organized sales floor. You are the driving force behind new and ongoing sales opportunities - directly impacting our growth and success.

Required Skills

• Computer literate; familiarity using POS systems
• Extremely personable, positive, and approachable
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time; can lift 50 pounds

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
