Constructo Marketing is looking for an experienced SEO Manager to take ownership of SEO strategy and execution across approximately 13 client accounts.
This is not a role where you'll only write content, build backlinks, or make on-page recommendations.
You’ll be responsible for SEO end to end.
That means understanding each client's business, identifying opportunities, building the strategy, coordinating execution, monitoring performance, and continually improving results.
Our clients are primarily home service and construction companies, so experience with local SEO and service-area businesses is a major plus.
You manage approximately 13 SEO accounts and be responsible for areas including:
You’ll also need to understand the rapidly changing world of AI search.
We're actively thinking beyond traditional Google rankings and looking at visibility across platforms and experiences such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, and other answer engines.
You do not need to claim to have "figured out" AI search, because nobody has. You do need to actively follow how search is changing and understand concepts such as entity authority, citations, structured content, brand mentions, topical authority, and how content gets surfaced in AI-generated answers.
We're specifically looking for someone who can look at an account and answer:
"What should we do next, and why?"
You won’t be handed a checklist every week.
We want someone who can analyze an account, recognize opportunities and problems, prioritize the work that matters most, and take responsibility for moving the account forward.
You have support from the rest of our team for areas such as development, design, content, and implementation.
However, you are ultimately responsible for the SEO strategy and direction of your accounts.
If something needs to happen, we expect you to identify it, communicate it, and make sure it gets across the finish line.
You should have:
Experience working with contractors, remodelers, roofers, or other home service companies is a plus but is not required.
You like taking ownership.
You notice problems before someone has to point them out.
You can zoom out and think strategically while still being willing to get into Search Console, crawl a website, review a service page, or investigate why rankings dropped.
You care about business results — not just traffic charts.
And you're genuinely interested in where SEO is heading rather than relying entirely on tactics that worked five years ago.
Within your first few months, you should be able to:
