Job summary

Switch Recruit (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced Oceanfreight Product Manager to lead the seafreight division in Cape Town. You will drive growth and profitability by optimizing operations, supporting the sales team, and building strong client and partner relationships.

The role focuses on managing day-to-day seafreight activities, identifying opportunities for commercial growth, and coordinating with international offices to strengthen the division’s offering.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in a Seafreight Manager role or similar senior position.
• Strong operational knowledge of seafreight including imports/exports and end-to-end forwarding.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day seafreight operations ensuring shipments meet requirements.
• Drive efficiency, service delivery and continuous improvement across the division.
• Lead and develop the seafreight team with guidance and performance management.
