Job summary

The Department of Health and Wellness in the Western Cape seeks an Administrative Officer: Supply Chain Management to join the team on a permanent basis.

Your role includes inventory control, LOGIS system management, and ensuring compliance with PFMA and Treasury regulations, while supporting financial reporting and asset management across the Mossel Bay sub-district. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with Mathematics and/or Accounting as a passed subject and/or Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with experience/competencies that focuses on the Key Performance Areas (KPA’s) of the post.
• Appropriate experience in Supply Chain Management (warehouse and asset management) and Finance processes. Appropriate Supervisor Experience. Appropriate experience in LOGIS system & EPS.

Responsibilities

• Inventory control and warehouse management.
• Perform LOGIS system controller functions.
• Ensure that all transactions comply with legislative requirements (audit compliance) and handle audit queries with regards to SCM.
• Manage the LOGIS system and the approval of transactions and drawing of related reports.
• Assist with financial procedures and reporting on Annual and Interim Financial Statements.
• Asset management of the Mossel bay sub-district and demand and requisition management.
