The role requires a Bachelor's in SCM or related field, 6+ years in supply chain with at least 2 years in management, and hands-on experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in SCM, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years in supply chain and logistics, with 2 years in management.
• Proven FMCG or food & beverage experience in Western Cape.
• Strong inventory, warehousing, and transportation knowledge.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to lead a team.
• Proficient in WMS, TMS, and ERP systems; budget and cost control.
• Knowledge of regulatory food industry regulations.
• Ability to analyse data and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain and logistics strategies for Mossel Bay.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, warehousing, and transportation operations.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party providers.
• Optimize inventory levels to minimise holding costs.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery to customers and distribution points.
• Lead and mentor the supply chain team to high performance.
• Implement KPIs to measure efficiency, cost, and service levels.
• Identify process improvements and tech solutions for visibility.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
