Job summary

AECI in Sandton seeks a Master Data Quality Specialist to oversee the data quality function for SAP Materials, BOMs, and Routings, establishing standards and dashboards. You will lead data governance forums and engage with business units to drive improvements.

The role requires 4–6 years in data analytics or governance, with SAP Material Master experience and strong SQL/BI skills. On-site in Sandton with cross‑functional collaboration across SCM teams.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years in a data analytics or data management role with manufacturing/supply chain focus.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with SAP Material Master Data.
• Experience managing SAP BOMs and Routings data within SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience in data governance and data quality management.
• Knowledge of data standards and governance controls.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data standards, rules and governance controls for material master, BOM and routing data.
• Lead data governance forums and report on data quality metrics.
• Perform data quality checks and cleansing activities.
• Develop KPI dashboards to monitor data quality and trends.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Manufacturing, Procurement and Supply Chain.
