Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Release Manager for Salesforce to operationalise and maintain the platform. You will own the release lifecycle, design and deploy changes, and drive governance aligned with best practices. The role requires extensive Salesforce experience and leadership in DevOps.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to schedule releases, manage data migrations, and mentor engineers while advancing automation and API integrations across the production environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience on the Salesforce platform including release management.
• Experience with at least 2 Salesforce Cloud platforms or installed apps.
• Experience managing release processes for onboarding projects and data migrations.
• Hands-on Salesforce configurations, roles, profiles, and Apex.
• Knowledge of deployment tools and branch strategies; conflict resolution.
• Proven DevOps leadership and mentoring of engineers.
• Industry experience with Big Data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all aspects to keep a healthy Salesforce platform.
• Design, test, deploy and maintain the Salesforce platform per governance.
• Plan and control the software delivery life cycle (SDLC).
• Enable DevOps best practices and automation across the platform.
