Job description

As a Solution Architect, you will own the integrity and strength of the solutions recommended. You’ll be acting as a trusted advisor to our team and clients, and an effective mentor for other Salesforce professionals working alongside you. You will need a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform but just as importantly, top‑note people skills to get your ideas and solutions across to stakeholders and gain integrity to get your visions built into successful solutions.

Overall 6‑12 years of experience in IT and 3‑5 years of experience as Salesforce Solution Architect are required.

Salesforce mandatory certifications, PD1 and PD2, are required.

Demonstrated experience with Salesforce administration and development.

Experience with SOAP and REST APIs, JSON, sObjects, SOQL, SOSL, Chatter APIs, outbound messaging, Lightning Components and Visualforce pages.

Extensive working knowledge of Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud.

Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Work closely with Segment / Lead Solution architect to develop strategy for the portfolio and present it to the decision review board.

Guide the development team with respect to the architecture roadmap to create a viable/sustainable solution that upgrades existing custom & legacy systems.

Align with security and identity architects to make the solution more secure and reliable for business.

Demonstrated experience with Section 508 accessibility requirements and experience developing and testing conformant interfaces.

Ability to transform existing custom & legacy systems into a more reliable, scalable & compliant Salesforce instance.
