Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a driven Sales Executive to lead the full sales cycle for digital advertising solutions in Gauteng. You will prospect, canvass, visit clients, follow up on leads, and prepare quotes and proposals while managing client campaigns from start to finish.

With 2-3 years in a similar role and a strong track record, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling CRM records and producing presentations.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent is essential.
• 2-3 years in a similar sales role with a proven track record.
• Media/advertising experience preferred; marketing or general sales background considered.
• Own transport and valid driver’s licence are required for client visits.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and hunt new business opportunities.
• Visit clients and canvass areas; build relationships.
• Follow up on leads and prepare quotes.
• Assist clients with billboard queries and manage campaigns end-to-end.
• Prepare presentations, proposals, spreadsheets and contracts.

We're on the hunt for a driven, target-hungry Sales Executive to join our client team selling innovative Digital advertising solutions. If you love the thrill of winning new business and you're motivated by targets (not intimidated by them), we want to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prospecting and hunting down new business opportunities
• Canvassing areas and physically visiting clients - this is a big part of the role
• Following up on phone and website leads, and putting together quotes
• Assisting new and existing clients with billboard queries
• Managing the full sales cycle from lead generation right through to close
• Putting together presentations, proposals, spreadsheets, contracts and production orders
• Managing client campaigns from start to finish
• Reporting back to management weekly on leads and canvassing areas covered
• Occasionally taking proof-of-flighting photos on site
• Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date
• Hitting monthly and yearly sales targets
• Any other ad hoc duties as required

What You'll Need

• Matric essential
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar sales role, with a proven track record
• Media and advertising experience is strongly preferred; marketing or general sales background will also be considered
• Your own reliable transport and a valid driver's licence - non-negotiable, as canvassing and client visits are a core part of this role
• Solid computer literacy and strong admin skills
• Great communication and negotiation skills
• The ability to stay cool, organised and effective under pressure in a fast-paced environment
