Job summary

Status Staffing in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Sales and Project Manager to drive signage projects from inquiry to installation. You will generate new business, meet targets, and coordinate with clients, designers, production, procurement and installation teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has five years of proven sales and project management experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a hands-on, independent work style for a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' proven experience in sales and project management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and understand signage manufacturing processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP and CRM systems will be advantageous.
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Self-motivated, professional and results-driven with the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities and build strong, lasting client relationships.
• Meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Conduct client meetings and site visits to gather project requirements.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on sales opportunities.
• Manage signage projects from order confirmation through to final installation.
• Liaise with clients, designers, production, procurement and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Resolve client queries and concerns professionally and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and project documentation.
