Job summary

Italtile in Cape Town is seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to provide day-to-day support to retailers, handle queries, and train sales staff. You will work to grow the Ezee Tile business by expanding the customer base and improving product knowledge.

The role requires extensive travel to retail stores, a valid driving licence, and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining professional presentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with key customers.
• Grow the customer base outside group stores.
• Daily interaction with current customer base.

• Compile weekly and monthly feedback reports.
• Provide hands on training to group and independent sales personnel.
• Provide technical support to retail stores, advise with product suitability and applications.
• Drive to upsell products and improve sales basket.
• Attend to customer complaints and perform root cause analysis on complaints / failures.
• Provide detailed report on analysis complains and failures to factory quality team.
• Maintain good relationships with internal processes.
• Be presentable and professional at all times.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS

• This position will require extensive traveling to visit retail stores daily.
• Must be in possession of a valid driving licence.
• This position must be medically fit and mobile.

REQUIREMENTS

The requirements and qualifications for this position include:

• Proven experience in a retail sales environment.
• Sound knowledge of adhesive industry or cementitious products will be an advantage.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• The ability to multitask.
• A pro-active person, with the ability to drive goals and targets.
