Job summary

Managed People Solutions Pty invites applicants to join a 12-month full-time internship as a Sales and Merchandising Assistant in the Southern Suburbs, Western Cape. You will ride along with experienced teams and develop hands-on skills in sales, merchandising and customer service, while earning a monthly stipend.

The role emphasizes gaining practical industry knowledge, building confidence, and improving communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude and sense of responsibility.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Passion for sales, customer service and merchandising.
• Commitment to completing the full 12-month programme on a full-time basis.
• Availability to work throughout December peak season.

Responsibilities

• Travel with Sales Representatives on daily routes as part of a ride-along team.
• Support sales activities and help achieve sales targets.
• Merchandise products and ensure shelves and displays are neat, stocked and eye-catching.
• Assist customers and build positive relationships.
• Gain practical knowledge of sales, merchandising and in-store promotions.
• Work as part of a team to achieve sales and merchandising objectives.
