Responsibilities

• Lead the group’s commercial sales and marketing function from Head Office.
• Build, manage and strengthen productive relationships with STO partners and relevant trade accounts.
• Implement and manage the group’s agreed rate and revenue strategy.
• Maintain rate integrity across properties, channels, partners and reservation platforms.
• Monitor market demand, booking patterns, competitor positioning and commercial performance.
• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing central reservations team.
• Establish clear reservation standards, conversion targets and performance measures.
• Strengthen the pre-arrival guest journey through relevant communication and coordinated service touchpoints.
• Manage digital marketing activity, including campaigns, content and channel performance.
• Drive SEO initiatives that increase relevant visibility, website traffic and direct bookings.
• Coordinate public relations activity and maintain consistent group messaging.
• Demonstrate senior sales and marketing experience within hospitality.
• Possess a strong understanding of STO relationships and hospitality distribution.
• Have practical experience with rate strategy, revenue implementation and rate integrity.
• Show proven leadership experience within reservations, sales or commercial teams.
• Demonstrate commercial judgement, analytical thinking and strong communication skills.
• Be capable of coordinating multiple properties, stakeholders, campaigns and priorities.

Hospitality and Outdoor – New Vacancy – Sales & Marketing Manager Hospitality Group – Paternoster – West Coast A hospitality group is seeking a commercially driven Sales and Marketing Manager to join its Head Office and lead group-wide sales, digital marketing, public relations and central reservations performance. This strategic position requires an experienced hospitality professional who can convert commercial plans into measurable revenue results while protecting brand positioning and rate integrity. The successful candidate will develop strong STO relationships, implement the group’s rate and revenue strategy and lead a high-performing central reservations team. A key focus will be strengthening the pre-arrival guest journey and ensuring every commercial channel supports consistent communication, conversion and profitability. The rate strategy is currently overseen by the General Manager, and this appointment will assume responsibility for implementing, managing and driving that strategy.
