Job summary

• Recently graduated with a degree in Health Sciences or Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences or Medical Sciences or Nursing or Business or Marketing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Able to travel to support customer needs.
• Must be currently unemployed.
• Must be a South African citizen.
• Must be under the age of 30.
• Must not have participated in a YES programme previously.
• Should not be currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in postgraduate studies.
• Commits to complete 12-month internship.

Responsibilities

• Support customer engagement and account management activities by working alongside Sales Representatives, Clinical Specialists.
• Assist with clinical and technical support activities, including product demonstrations, case preparation, procedure support, customer training, and educational initiatives under appropriate supervision.
• Coordinate administrative and operational activities, including quotations, purchase‑order follow‑up, reporting, presentations, customer inquiries, and maintenance of accurate records.
• Assist with inventory and consignment management to ensure product availability, stock accuracy, and compliance with business procedures.
• Develop knowledge of Medtronic products, therapies, disease states, and healthcare pathways to effectively support customer needs and business objectives.
• Collect and communicate market insights, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence through approved channels.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and ethical business practices.

Internship Detail

• Locations : Gqeberha (Eastern Cape), Cape Town (Western Cape), Johannesburg (Gauteng), Bloemfontein (Free State)
• Working hours: Full-time

• Previous exposure to a clinical, theatre, healthcare, or medical technology environment.
• Experience supporting customer engagement, education activities, or field‑based work.
