Internship Details

• Start date: November 2026
• Duration: 12 months
• Locations : Mthatha, East London (Eastern Cape), Durban (KwaZulu-Natal)
• Working hours: Full-time
• Work model: Field-based and office-based, with regular travel to customer facilities

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned

• Support commercial growth within assigned accounts and the broader territory
• Provide clinical and technical support before, during and after procedures

• Respond to technical and application-related queries from sales colleagues and external stakeholders
• Help deliver on-site education, consultation and customer follow-up while following Medtronic policies and hospital protocols

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Recently graduated with a degree in a medical or health-related field
• Proficiency in English, with clear written and verbal communication skills
• Able to travel to support customer needs
• Must be currently unemployed
• Must be a South African citizen
• Must be under the age of 30
• Must not have participated in a YES programme previously
• Should not be currently enrolled in or planning to enroll in postgraduate studies
• Commits to complete 12-month internship

Would be a Plus

• A valid driver’s licenc
• Customer-focused communication, teamwork, adaptability and a strong willingness to learn on the job
