Job summary

Ad Talent Africa is seeking a detail-driven MIS Executive to support and optimize our Sales reporting ecosystem. You will develop daily/weekly/monthly reports, build dashboards, validate data, and present insights to management in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role requires advanced Excel skills, a degree in a related field, and 2–3 years of relevant experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience as an MIS Executive, Sales Coordinator, Data Analyst, or in a similar reporting role.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts, Slicers IF, SUMIF, COUNTIF, INDEX-MATCH
• Data Validation and Conditional Formatting
• Basic dashboards and report automation
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills with sales teams and other stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and meet reporting deadlines

Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain and analyse daily, weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Develop and manage MIS reports and dashboards to support business decision-making.
• Collect, validate and consolidate sales data from the Sales team.
• Follow up regularly with the Sales team to ensure timely submission of reports and accurate data.
• Perform data analysis using advanced Microsoft Excel functions to identify trends and insights.
• Generate presentations and reports for management using Microsoft PowerPoint and Word.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency and confidentiality across all reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve data discrepancies and reporting issues.
• Support management with ad hoc reports and analytical requirements
