Job summary

Oracle SA in Roodepoort seeks a motivated SAIPA Article Clerk to complete articles while gaining hands-on experience in accounting, auditing, taxation and financial reporting in line with SAIPA training.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting degree or equivalent, completed or in progress.
• Registered or eligible to register for SAIPA articles.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements.
• Perform bookkeeping including capturing transactions and reconciliations.
• Prepare VAT returns and assist with tax submissions.
• Assist with income tax calculations and provisional tax returns.
• Support audit and assurance engagements and file preparation.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory submissions.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and legislation.
• Work with senior accountants to meet deadlines.

Accounting company in Roodepoort is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAIPA Article Clerk to join our accounting and finance team. The successful candidate will complete their articles while gaining practical, hands-on experience across accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial reporting in line with SAIPA training requirements. 3 Year contract

Training & Development

• Complete SAIPA training programme requirements
• Attend required training courses, assessments, and professional development sessions
• Rotate through different accounting and finance functions to gain exposure

08:00h to 15:30h (lunch taken at end of the day)

Fuel allowance:(reimbursed allowance)

Must have own car / license

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Perform bookkeeping functions, including capturing of transactions and reconciliations
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and assist with other tax-related submissions
• Assist with income tax calculations and provisional tax returns
• Support audit and assurance engagements, including audit file preparation
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
• Assist with payroll processing and statutory submissions
• Perform general accounting and administrative duties as required
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and legislation
• Work closely with senior accountants and managers to meet deadlines
