You will support preparation of annual financial statements, monthly accounts, VAT/PAYE submissions, and reconciliations while gaining exposure to audit engagements and client coordination.

Qualifications

• Looking to pursue SAICA articles (to commence February 2027).
• Final year of a relevant degree or completed degree.
• Must have own transport and valid drivers licence.
• Must live in or close to the Roodepoort area.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual financial statements and management accounts.
• Perform monthly accounting duties and GL reconciliations.
• Contribute to audit engagements by preparing working papers.
• Manage VAT, PAYE and other submissions.
• Conduct bank, debtors, creditors, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support budgeting, cash flow forecasts and financial analysis.
• Process and review accounting transactions and investigate discrepancies.
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to facilitate operations.
• Provide general accounting and admin support to the finance team.
