Job summary

Shift Pursuit is seeking a SAIPA Trainee Accountant in Bloemfontein to join a professional accounting and advisory firm. This role is ideal for a motivated accounting graduate aiming to complete SAIPA articles while gaining practical exposure in accounting, taxation, and financial administration.

You will assist with monthly bookkeeping, financial statement support, VAT and tax submissions, and maintain client records, with opportunities to liaise with clients and SARS.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting, BCompt, or SAIPA-accredited qualification.
• Intention to register for or complete SAIPA articles.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and taxation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Sage, Xero, Pastel or similar software.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
