Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd in Johannesburg seeks an Afrikaans-speaking Sage Implementation Consultant with SAIPA/SAICA articles to drive end-to-end ERP implementations. You will translate financial requirements into Sage configurations, deliver training, and support go-live activities.

You will travel to client sites, work across multiple projects, and engage directly with clients to optimise financial processes through ERP solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• SAIPA or SAICA Articles completed.
• Afrikaans-speaking proficiency required.
• Strong accounting principles and financial reporting knowledge.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full-cycle Sage ERP implementations for clients.
• Analyze business processes and gather client requirements.
• Configure Sage solutions to client needs.
• Deliver user training and post-implementation support.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams throughout project delivery.
• Prepare project plans, functional specs, status reports and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvement and system optimisation.
• Serve as Sage functionality SME and best practices advocate.
• Support client meetings, workshops and go-live activities, including on-site engagements.
