Job summary

PwC South Africa's Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC) in Johannesburg seeks a Finance Systems ERP specialist to lead end-to-end Sage Intacct implementations. You will gather requirements, design solutions, configure modules, migrate data and support testing, go-live and stabilisation with cross-functional finance and IT teams.

The role emphasizes deep finance process knowledge, accuracy in configuration, and the ability to translate business needs into structured system designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems or related field.
• Current Sage Intacct certification is required.
• Hands-on experience delivering Sage Intacct implementations from initiation to go-live and post-go-live support.
• Strong understanding of finance processes and reporting (month-end, reconciliations, journals, management reporting).
• Experience configuring modules across AP, AR, GL, OE and PO; data migration and testing.

Responsibilities

• Configure Sage Intacct modules and customize workflows with other finance systems.
• Configure financial structures, workflows, controls, user access and reporting per design.
• Support data migration activities including validation and reconciliation.
• Plan and support testing, readiness, and go-live activities.
• Deliver user training and prepare documentation for business adoption.
• Provide post-go-live support and stabilisation; collaborate with finance and tech teams.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and standard delivery assets.
