Job summary

Radisson Collection Hotel Waterfront, Cape Town, part of Radisson Hotel Group, seeks a Safety & Security Manager to lead the team and uphold the highest security standards for guests and staff.

You will drive proactive safety initiatives, manage budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance while delivering exceptional guest experiences in a luxury hospitality setting.

Responsibilities

• Support the safety & security department, where all aspects of safety & security are maintained to the highest levels.
• Work proactively to improve guest satisfaction and promptly respond to guest enquiries.
• Deliver on plans and objectives where safety & security initiatives and hotel targets are achieved.
• Manage the maintenance team fostering a culture of growth, development and performance.
• Oversee the departmental budget, ensuring cost and inventory control, productivity and performance.
• Builds and maintains effective working relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Deliver a planned preventative maintenance programme addressing maintenance, environmental and conservation matters.
• Ensure adherence to legislation and best practice for internal and external audits.
