A luxury safari lodge in Mpumalanga seeks a senior operations leader with responsibility for all departments and HODs. You will maintain five-star guest service levels, oversee health and safety, and drive improvements in systems, procedures and performance.

With at least three years in a senior hospitality role, you will manage budgets, costs and resources, lead teams, and ensure compliance with safety legislation.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years' experience in senior operational or management role within hospitality.
• Hospitality Management qualification advantageous.
• Experience overseeing multiple departments and working with HODs.
• Proven staff management, leadership and development skills.
• Experience in operational planning, budgeting and cost control.
• Strong understanding of five-star guest service standards.
• Experience managing projects and operational improvements.
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and legislation.
• Strong financial acumen and cost-consciousness.
• Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Sage X3 and HMS Infor advantageous.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Hands-on, proactive and willing to work flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, guide and support all operational departments and HODs.
• Maintain exceptional five-star guest service and operational standards.
• Monitor guest feedback and address concerns with relevant HODs.
• Identify and implement improvements to systems, procedures and operational performance.
• Monitor departmental budgets, expenditure and operational costs.
• Manage departmental resources, equipment and assets effectively.
• Ensure facilities, vehicles and equipment are maintained to high standards.
• Oversee Health & Safety procedures, inspections and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with occupational Health & Safety legislation and statutory requirements.
• Provide leave cover for the Deputy General Manager.
