Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a supervisor to oversee the Rubber and Chrome Shop, ensuring quality components reach Assembly and Warehouse while meeting customer requirements. You will plan and coordinate the manufacture of raw materials to finished components to meet targets and demand.

The role requires at least 2 years in a similar engineering environment (preferably Rubber) in a supervisory capacity, with advantageous planning experience and a relevant Rubber Technology qualification.

Qualifications

• Grade 12/N3 with Supervisory Qualification.
• Qualification in Rubber Technology would be an added advantage.
• At least 2 years experience in a similar environment (Engineering) preferably Rubber industry in a Supervisory capacity.
• Planning experience would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Rubber and Chrome Shop to ensure quality components are delivered to Assembly and Warehouse, as dictated by our internal and external Customers.
• Plan and coordinate the manufacturing of all raw material and semi-finished components to finished components to meet set targets and or demand.
• Maintain accurate data sheets and assist with fault finding where necessary.
