Job description

We are seeking a Release Train Engineer (RTE) with 4–7 years of experience to lead and coordinate Agile Release Trains (ARTs) delivering complex solutions across Payments, Investor Services & Trade, Pricing & Billing, and Liquidity Management. The role focuses on driving execution, alignment, and continuous improvement across multiple Agile teams in a scaled environment, ensuring successful delivery of high‑impact financial initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage Agile Release Train (ART) events including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Coordinate multiple Agile teams to ensure alignment, dependency management, and delivery execution.
• Track and report on program‑level progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Remove program‑level impediments and escalate where necessary.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, Architects, and stakeholders to ensure delivery alignment.
• Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity across teams.
• Support planning and delivery of initiatives across payments platforms, trading systems, billing engines, and liquidity/treasury systems.
• Ensure adherence to Agile, SAFe, and governance frameworks.
• Manage program risks and mitigation strategies.
• Enable transparency through metrics, dashboards, and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• SAFe RTE certification or equivalent Agile certification (preferred).

Experience Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in Agile delivery roles (Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or RTE).
• Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe or similar frameworks).
• Proven experience managing multiple teams and large‑scale delivery programs.
• Experience within financial services or banking environments is highly preferred.

Technical & Tools Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Agile, SAFe, and Lean principles.
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of software delivery lifecycle (SDLC) and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with data, integration, and cloud‑based systems.
• Experience with reporting tools and dashboards for program tracking.

Domain Experience (Highly Preferred)

• Payments: High‑volume transaction processing, settlement cycles, payment platforms.
• Pricing & Billing: Billing systems, pricing engines, revenue processes.
• Liquidity Management: Treasury systems, cash flow management, liquidity reporting.
